Welcome to the transformative world of Ruach, INC., where the essence of our mission flows from the very breath of life itself. Founded by Daisha Herring, a proud native Detroiter and a vessel of spiritual enlightenment, Ruach, INC. is more than an organization—it's a divine calling.
In the heart of Detroit, Mrs. Herring's journey began, a path that led her through the halls of Cass Technical High School, Wayne State University, and Lawrence Technological University. But it was a pivotal moment, one etched in the collective memory of our nation, that ignited the spark of Ruach, INC. It was the moment when she bore witness to the harrowing murder of George Floyd, hearing his desperate plea, "I can't breathe." In that breathless moment, Mrs. Herring found her purpose—to give back, to heal, and to empower.
Ruach, a word infused with the very essence of divinity, means "God's Breath." Through this organization, we are on a sacred mission to dispel the shadows of prejudice that have long haunted the lives of Black individuals, not just in America but across the world. Our tenets are unshakable, advocating for equal opportunities in every facet of existence: from reshaping the narrative in media to nurturing political literacy, from improving healthcare and mental well-being to fostering financial literacy and generational wealth. Our commitment knows no bounds.
Ruach, INC. is a relentless force, ceaselessly working towards "leveling the playing field." We believe in upholding the true meaning of the pursuit of happiness for all who reside in the United States and beyond. This is not just a dream; it's a promise.
In the heart of the Detroit Metropolitan area, Mrs. Herring, guided by her spiritual wisdom, walks hand in hand with her husband, Duane, of 21 years. Their son, Duane Herring Jr., a beacon of hope, attends Michigan State University, immersing himself in the study of Accounting, an investment in the future.
Join us in this spiritual awakening, a journey of profound transformation. Together, we can breathe life into the world, restoring balance, equality, and the pursuit of happiness for all. Welcome to Ruach, INC., where the breath of God fuels our mission, and where the winds of change are ushered in with open arms.
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
